Whew! Finished ”Dreams from My Father” by Barack Obama finally. It took me a while because I found I really could not read more than one or two chapters in one sitting. The story was interesting though - his journey to find his past.

Definitely made me think. I have been asked a couple times about my ancestry because of the fairness of my skin. I’ve never been able to give an answer really since all I know is that as far back as my great-grandparents my family on both sides were Jamaican. Not enough of an answer for some people but it works for me. My search for my roots would probably take me as far as the deep country of another parish.
