Ok, having missed another chance in February (which I didn’t blog about), it has finally happened. Pops accompanied me this morning as I performed ‘Melody in F’ and ‘Ave Maria’ at the Easter Reflections function at my recent place of employment. It was a nice surprise for everyone who didn’t expect to see me again so soon after my contract finished last week.

So how was it? Well, I was totally freaked out. And, of course, I made tons of mistakes. But it was well received and I can now say I have played solo. Not that I am over my fear of doing it but this was the first step.
