21. Make hummus from scratch

Mmmm! As I type this post I am chomping on a grilled hummus sandwich. Decided last night to just do it - got my ingredients and dove in. Several hours later I had hummus, a large bowl of it, plus a half pot of cooked chickpeas to deal with. Didn’t realize how much the peas would expand.

The hummus is great. Had a little too much lemon juice but a touch more tahini fixed that. It’s a large bowl tho. Gonna have to take some to work and eat everyday to get rid of it.

Now for recipes to use the leftover frozen chickpeas.
